The CAD bureaus can (and does) still use it and gets their licenses renewed at great pain. My thinking is it would be better for the world to move on - no new designs and no "minor" revisions to designs in IPL. Switch to something that supports rules - because you will need it in any "modern" design today. Maybe I should moderate this to what I really understand: designs that are 6-8 layers minimum and have at least 2 modern digital parts interconnected (like CPU and memory). It would be nice if they would at least sell it without providing new updates. Mentor Expedition is a good program, but it is not with the price unless you use all the features to their fullest.
